Shani Jayanti Puja Vidhi (English)
1. Take a Holy Bath
Wake up early in the morning and take a bath before sunrise. Wear clean or black-colored clothes, which are considered auspicious for Shani Dev worship.
2. Clean the Puja Place
Clean the temple or worship area in your home. Place the idol or image of Shani Dev on a clean cloth.
3. Light a Mustard Oil Lamp
Light a lamp using mustard oil (Sarson ka Tel). This is one of the most important offerings during Shani worship.
4. Offer Black Sesame Seeds
Offer black sesame seeds (Kala Til), flowers, and incense to Shani Dev.
5. Perform Abhishek
If possible, perform abhishek with water, milk, and sesame oil while praying to Shani Dev.
6. Chant Shani Mantra
Chant the powerful mantra:
Om Sham Shanicharaya Namah
Repeat the mantra at least 108 times for spiritual benefit.
7. Donate to the Poor

1. प्रातः स्नान करें
शनि जयंती के दिन सुबह जल्दी उठकर स्नान करें और साफ या काले रंग के वस्त्र धारण करें।
2. पूजा स्थान को साफ करें
घर के मंदिर या पूजा स्थान को अच्छी तरह साफ करें और शनि देव की मूर्ति या चित्र स्थापित करें।
3. सरसों के तेल का दीपक जलाएं
शनि देव की पूजा में सरसों के तेल का दीपक जलाना बहुत शुभ माना जाता है।
4. काले तिल अर्पित करें
शनि देव को काले तिल, फूल और धूप अर्पित करें।
5. अभिषेक करें
यदि संभव हो तो जल, दूध और तिल के तेल से शनि देव का अभिषेक करें।
6. शनि मंत्र का जाप करें
शनि देव का यह मंत्र श्रद्धा से जपें:

इस मंत्र का 108 बार जप करना शुभ माना जाता है।
7. दान करें
शनि जयंती के दिन दान करना बहुत पुण्यदायक माना जाता है। काले तिल, सरसों का तेल, काले कपड़े, लोहे के बर्तन और भोजन का दान करें।
8. पशु-पक्षियों को भोजन दें
कौओं, कुत्तों और गरीब लोगों को भोजन कराने से शनि देव प्रसन्न होते हैं।
