Rama Ekadashi is an important fasting day dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It falls during the Krishna Paksha (waning phase of the moon) in the Kartik month of the Hindu calendar. The day is also known as Rambha Ekadashi and comes just a few days before Diwali.
